Ergonomics has always been an important part of industrial design. Products with good ergonomics will make users feel comfortable. This can improve work efficiency and save energy. After investigation, the angle between the grip of most power drills on the market and the body is between 100 degrees and 110 degrees. Is this the best angle? Will the user feel comfortable in actual use?

For this, I made a foam model. I made three different models. The included angles are 90 degrees, 100 degrees, and 105 degrees. After experimentation, I think 105 degrees is the best angle. People usually push power drills to get more force. When the user raises such a handle, the drill bit will face straight ahead.

For the width and height of the handle, I also experimented separately. The width of the handle must be suitable for 90% of users, which means that 90% can be held comfortably. The length of the grip should be longer than an ordinary electric drill because the battery will be placed there. I think the back of the body should be properly protruding so that the hands can support the weight of the body.
